Job summary

Berkley One is seeking an Auto Damage Desk Adjuster to join our team. This role focuses on auto physical damage claims, delivering quality estimates, and guiding total loss processes with a customer-first approach.

Based in Wilmington, DE or Phoenix, AZ, the position offers a hybrid work schedule with four days in the office and one remote day where feasible. You'll collaborate across teams to uphold Berkley One's service standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Auto Physical Damage experience with damage estimates.
• Experience coordinating with adjusters and claims management.
• Experience using CCC One Estimating software, Copart's platform, and ARMS.
• Ability to write damage estimates.
• Strong communication, customer service and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Review first and third-party estimates.
• Identify total loss estimates and document in the claim file.
• Negotiate storage charges with repair and tow facilities.
• Directly manage the total loss process, Salvage assignments and approvals.
• Serve as an auto physical damage resource for the claims department.
• Write desk estimates for repairable and total loss vehicles.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to insureds and agents.
