Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Claims Examiner, Casualty, to actively manage high-severity commercial casualty claims across the United States. You will lead coverage analyses, coordinate with carriers and counsel, and drive resolution strategies with strong negotiation and analytical skills.

The role requires 7–10 years of casualty claims experience, a Bachelor's degree, and active adjuster licensing in all applicable states. Travel up to 10% is expected as part of the duties.

• 7-10 years of Casualty claims experience with primary and/or excess carrier
• Strong communication, evaluating, negotiating, listening, and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree required and active adjuster licensing in all applicable states

Mansioni

• Identify and assess coverage issues, draft coverage position letters, and retain coverage counsel when necessary
• Develop and implement strategy related to coverage issues and resolution strategies
• Maintain contact with claims carriers, underwriters, defense counsel, and senior management
• Investigate claims and review insureds’ materials and documents
• Identify applicable statutes, rules, and case law by jurisdiction
• Review litigation materials including depositions and expert reports
• Analyze risk transfer, additional insured, and indemnity issues
• Retain and direct counsel as needed
• Analyze coverage, liability and damages for reserves
• Prepare written/oral reports to senior management with reserve recommendations
• Travel within the United States for mediations and trials
• Negotiate resolutions of claims
• Select and utilize structure brokers
• Maintain a claim diary and respond to inquiries from stakeholders
