Job summary

AAA Auto Club Enterprises in Missouri is seeking a Claims Senior Casualty Adjuster to handle moderate to high complexity claims across property, auto and liability lines. You will investigate liability, assess coverage, negotiate settlements, and resolve claims under supervision within authority levels.

The role requires strong knowledge of claims procedures, excellent communication, and the ability to work with various stakeholders while ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelors equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• 7-9 years prior claims handling experience preferred.
• 4-6 years property, auto, casualty or relevant claims administration experience required.
• Strong knowledge of claims administration best practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations to determine liability and damages.
• Communicate benefits, coverages and claims process in compliance with requirements.
• Evaluate claim values based on property, bodily injury and liability data.
• Negotiate within settlement authority to resolve claims.
• Update and document claim files in company systems (CACS, HUON, HOC, GUIDEWIRE).
• Control expenses for areas of responsibility.
• Verify coverage and coordinate with internal/external departments.
• Respond quickly to customer needs and problems.
• Independently resolve claims within authority level.
