Auto Club Enterprises is seeking a Claims Complex Casualty Adjuster to handle complex property, liability, and auto claims for the Interinsurance Exchange. You will investigate liability, evaluate coverage, negotiate settlements, and ensure regulatory compliance while mentoring junior adjusters.

Responsibilities include conducting investigations, obtaining statements, resolving claims within authority, and maintaining claim files in system tools like CACS and GUIDEWIRE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years prior claims experience.
• Advanced knowledge of insurance, fault assessment, negligence and subrogation principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and claims software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations to determine liability and damages.
• Obtain statements from insureds, claimants and witnesses.
• Negotiate within authority to resolve first- and third-party claims.
• Explain benefits and coverage per regulatory requirements.
• Mentor other adjusters on adjudicating complex claims.
• Handle claim files and update databases and systems.
