Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Sr Process Engineer with SolidWorks, MAGMA, and a strong ductile iron casting background to join our Nashville, TN on-site team. This permanent role focuses on analyzing and optimizing casting processes, validating changes with MAGMA simulations, and leading root-cause investigations with cross-functional teams.

Bachelor's degree in engineering and 2+ years of hands-on experience are required; foundry experience is a strong plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
2+ years of hands-on process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Foundry background required; ductile iron casting, process simulation or continuous improvement experience is a strong plus.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to work well across teams.

Responsibilities

Analyze and optimize ductile iron casting processes to improve yield, quality and consistency.
Run casting simulations in MAGMA to validate process changes before they hit the floor.
Lead root cause investigations on process deviations and drive corrective action to close them out.
Partner with production and quality teams to hold process control across every shift.
Support new product launches, testing and validation from a process standpoint.
Bring new technology and process improvements into daily operations.
