Jobot is seeking a Principal Casting & Metallurgical Engineer to lead technical efforts across multiple production sites in the United States. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in casting, metallurgy, molten metal processing, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience with casting process optimization and root cause analysis.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for casting, melting, and molten metal processes across multiple locations.
• Lead complex troubleshooting for casting quality, metal recovery, process variability, and performance.
• Develop and implement best practices to improve quality, productivity, recovery, and cost efficiency.
• Partner with plant leadership, engineering, operations, quality, and R&D teams to solve manufacturing challenges.
• Lead cross-functional technology and process improvement initiatives.
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Support new technology evaluations and implementation of casting/metallurgical processes.
• Train and mentor engineers, metallurgists, and operations personnel.
• Standardize technical practices and drive knowledge sharing across facilities.
• Support capacity improvement initiatives through process optimization and workflow enhancements.
• Promote a culture of operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.
