Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Manager in Indiana with a strong background in casting and extrusion maintenance. You will lead a hands-on maintenance team, develop preventive programs, and manage budgets and vendor relations to ensure peak equipment performance.

The role emphasizes safety compliance, inventory control, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced metals manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10+ years in casting/extrusion maintenance.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proven experience in preventive maintenance and facility management.
• Excellent inventory management skills for spare parts.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance.
• Excellent budget management and cost control.
• Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
• Ability to train and develop maintenance staff.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee casting and extrusion equipment maintenance for optimal efficiency.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Manage facility operations, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure availability for repairs.
• Ensure safety regulations and guidelines are followed.
• Lead, coach, and train maintenance technicians.
• Manage maintenance budget and expenditures.
• Build and manage vendor relationships and service contracts.
• Provide staff training on maintenance techniques and safety protocols.
