The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a similar role, hands-on leadership of hourly teams, and proven ability to improve production performance, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role in manufacturing/industrial operations.
• Proven experience with operations, extrusion, continuous improvement, Disamatic, foundries, and safety.
• Strong leadership, team management, and budgeting abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the production department to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Implement and manage extrusion processes, ensuring optimal performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Operate and maintain Disamatic molding machines and other foundry equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring all staff adhere to safety regulations and standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Collaborate with other department heads to align production processes with company objectives.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing feedback and coaching to enhance team performance.
• Develop and manage production budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
