Job summary

Metal Technologies, Inc. in Auburn, IN is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance activities across the plant.

You will drive preventive, predictive, and corrective programs to maximize uptime and keep equipment safe and compliant. The ideal candidate has a decade of maintenance leadership experience in heavy industry, strong budgeting and project-management skills, and the ability to mentor electricians, millwrights, and controls technicians while advancing TPM and Lean

Qualifications

• Experience in foundry, metal casting or heavy manufacturing preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive maintenance leadership in manufacturing or foundry settings.
• Experience managing maintenance budgets and capital projects.
• Experience supervising multi-craft maintenance teams.
• Experience with automated manufacturing systems, robotics, PLCs, and industrial controls.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, and coordinate all maintenance activities to support safe and efficient foundry operations.
• Ensure maximum uptime and reliability of critical foundry equipment (melting furnaces, molding lines, etc.).
• Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations for major equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee contractor activities to ensure safety and project requirements.
• Monitor and improve maintenance KPIs (downtime, MTBF, PM completion, costs).
