Job summary

Lancaster County Government is seeking a Supervisor to manage four aging program assessors, overseeing workloads and training to ensure timely Functional Eligibility Determinations and OBRA assessments for adults needing care.

This role reports to the Chief Caseworker, conducts regular supervisory sessions, and coordinates with hospitals, facilities, and the County Assistance Office to maintain accurate referrals and data while ensuring adherence to HIPAA and county policies.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and two years of professional social work experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable per job description.

Responsibilities

• Supervise four aging program assessors and monitor workloads.
• Ensure timely completion of FEDs and OBRA assessments.
• Coordinate with Lancaster County Assistance Office and hospitals/physicians.
• Maintain regular supervisory sessions and monthly team meetings.
• Respond to day-to-day operational issues and ensure compliance.
