WestCare Foundation, Inc. North Highlands, CA is seeking a Senior Case Manager to supervise STOP program operations and oversee a large caseload of participants transitioning from prison substance abuse programs.

The role requires 2–3 years in case management, supervisory experience, and knowledge of criminal justice dynamics. Travel to providers and staff development are key elements of the position.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of case management experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Experience with the criminal justice population and knowledge of the culture of criminality.
• Must have the ability to obtain a prison clearance.
• Must pass a criminal history background screening.
• CPR and First Aid Certification, and an annual Tuberculosis test.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day functions of the STOP Program and large caseloads.
• Audit active participant files for completeness per WestCare guidelines.
• Coordinate services across multiple agencies.
• Schedule site visits and institutional presentations.
• Supervise Community Service Coordinators and conduct weekly staff meetings.
• Prepare necessary reports and travel to community providers.
• Hire, evaluate, and train STOP staff under direction of the Director.
• Uphold WestCare Foundation mission and values; perform other duties as assigned.
