Qualifications

• Current New York State clinical licensure (RN, Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician, PT, NP, PA, or Dietitian) with a minimum of three years of case management/quality improvement experience or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of NCQA and/or Medicare and Medicaid guidelines preferred.
• Ability to multitask and balance priorities.
• Must demonstrate proficient experience in use of a computer (Word, Excel, Internet, email).
• Case Management Certification within two years for FEP incumbents.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work of CM staff, including function, development plans, performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
• Coordinates communications and daily activities of staff to meet Health Plan goals.
• Participates in recruitment, training, and retention of staff including license verification.
• Conducts periodic case reviews, staff performance reviews, and staffing analysis to drive productivity.
• Maintains staff performance metrics and oversees performance management processes.
• May manage individual caseloads for certain member programs (physical and behavioral health).
• Prepares reports and maintains documentation related to department activities and quality improvement.
