DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC SECURITY in Avondale, AZ is seeking a Case Manager Unit Supervisor to join a dedicated team serving Arizonans with developmental disabilities. The role emphasizes supervision of staff, case management oversight, and ensuring ISP/IPS plans meet member needs within timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• AZ Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing OR degree in Social Work with a minimum of three (3) years case management experience OR Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or Counseling with a minimum of three (3) years case management experience and three (3) years of management experience OR five (5) years of case management experience.
• Employees shall have a valid Level One fingerprint clearance card issued pursuant to Arizona Revised Statute 41-1968 in order to work with children and vulnerable adults
• Candidates for this position shall be subject to a search of the Child Protective Services Central Registry pursuant to A.R.S. 8-804
• Successfully pass background and reference checks; employment is contingent upon completion of the above-mentioned process and the agency's ability to reasonably accommodate any restrictions
• This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business, then the following requirements apply: Driver's License Requirements

Responsibilities

• Supervising and directing work activities of subordinate staff; providing necessary training; providing technical advice and assistance to staff regarding development, implementation, or monitoring of member Individual Support Plans (ISP); completing performance evaluations
• Reviewing cases assigned to work unit; assessing needs and assigning cases to staff members; reviewing Individual Support Plan developed by Case Manager to ensure member needs are met; ensuring assignment area is completed within established timelines in compliance with quality standards
• Meeting with subordinate staff to assist with identifying necessary changes and modifications to Individual Support Plans
