Job summary

Compass Connections in San Antonio, Texas, is seeking a compassionate professional for a supervisory case management role serving children in emergency shelter and group homes. The position offers full retirement and comprehensive benefits.

Hourly rate is $36.69/hr with English and Spanish fluency required. Typical schedule is Tuesday–Saturday, 1:00pm–10:00pm, and duties include regulatory compliance, case management, and reunification processing.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the behavioral sciences, human services or social services fields or bachelor’s degree and at least three (3) years progressive employment experience that demonstrates supervisory and case management experience.
• Certifications: First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
• Demonstrate ability to respond sensitively to cultural and socio-economic characteristics and to work collaboratively with staff and partners.

Responsibilities

• Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position.
• Maintain a case load in accordance with agency policies and licensing and contract standards.
• Complete Case Management Tracking for each assigned child.
• Review completed family reunification packets for accuracy and follow up with sponsor to discuss any issues identified.
• Prepare sponsors to successfully complete and sign all required forms and documents and forward to EOIR and DHS as required.
• Assist children during departure/reunification, as needed.
• Participate in meetings and team decisions and ongoing professional development.
• Maintain confidentiality in all areas of service and adhere to agency policies.
