Job summary

Sikich is seeking a Manager, Client Accounting Services (CAS) to oversee outsourced accounting engagements for a client portfolio, acting as Controller or Accounting Manager. You will lead the close process, ensure GAAP compliance, and partner with clients to optimize financial operations and drive improvements.

You will mentor staff, manage engagement scope, and collaborate with tax, audit, and advisory teams to deliver integrated services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Five (5) plus years of experience in public accounting, consulting, or outsourced accounting services.
• Two (2) plus years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outsourced accounting engagements for a portfolio of clients, serving as Controller/Accounting Manager.
• Lead month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes with timely financial reporting.
• Review journal entries and reconciliations for GAAP compliance and accuracy.
• Provide actionable insights through analysis of financial results and variances.
• Improve accounting processes, internal controls, and workflows for efficiency.
