Job summary

Ryan Specialty, a Chicago-based division of RT Specialty, seeks a Senior Operations, Controls, and Carrier Compliance Specialist to support carrier contract adherence and audits, collaborating with IT, RT Brokerage, and Shared Services teams.

You will analyze data, review contracts, maintain SOX-compliant controls, and coordinate audits, with a focus on accuracy, initiative, and collaboration in a fast-paced insurance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years relevant experience required, preferably with an insurance organization, broker, or MGA.
• Experience with compliance, audit or a similar background is desirable.
• Strong analytical, data management and decision-making skills.
• Contract review experience; organized, with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis to support business decision making and business process improvement.
• Review carrier contracts to identify key terms that require system changes and coordinate with IT to facilitate and review updates
• Maintain appropriate documentation of the system setup and review process so that the necessary support is available for SOX and External Audit requirements.
• Understand existing financial, IT, and operational controls and manage adherence to those controls, making sure documentation of controls are updated and communicated as necessary.
