Job summary

Ryan Specialty is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to safeguard financial integrity and regulatory compliance across our operations. You will plan and complete audits, develop scope and procedures, and prepare reports reflecting results while leading testing and risk-based reviews.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in internal auditing within property and casualty insurance, a CPA/CIA or equivalent, strong data analysis skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; SQL is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of internal operational/financial auditing experience, preferably in property and casualty insurance.
• Knowledge of insurance accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices.
• Experience with data analysis and extraction tools.
• Big 4 experience preferred.
• CPA, CIA, or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal audit activities with responsibility for planning, execution and reporting results of financial compliance and operational audits.
• Participate in consultative reviews and special projects as needed.
• Perform risk assessments, business process analysis and compliance reviews.
• Develop recommendations to strengthen internal controls and improve processes.
• Prepare reports to communicate audit results and recommendations to management.
• Assist with testing of the company's internal controls.
• Build broad-based business relationships across the organization.
