Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an experienced Advanced Carpenter level 4 to support multiple reconstruction projects in Missouri. The role emphasizes leadership of carpentry crews, training of junior team members, and adherence to BELFOR protocols for safety and quality.

You will perform craft tasks, supervise sub-contractors where needed, and ensure timely project delivery on commercial, industrial, and institutional sites.

Qualifications

• Supervise unskilled labor and BELFOR crews on varied sites.
• Answer questions and escalate to qualified personnel as needed.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support in reconstruction projects and oversee multiple sites.
• Train Carpenter Basic and Carpenter Intermediate team members.
• Direct questions to appropriate resources and answer routine inquiries.
• Create containment for dust and contaminants in work areas.
• Construct walls, ceilings, and repair roofing as required.
• Follow BELFOR methods for flood cutting, salvaging, and labeling materials.
• Identify insulation types and R-values relevant to tasks.
• Apply skills to trim, doors, cabinetry, insulation, framing, ceilings, roofing, and siding.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and keep equipment in good condition.
• Meet BELFOR standards for safeguarding property and customer service.
• Work under time constraints and assist on nights/weekends or travel as needed.
• Record time worked and materials used accurately.
• Attend BELFOR safety and operations training courses.
