Job summary

BELFOR USA is seeking an experienced advanced carpenter level 4 to oversee multiple reconstruction projects. The role includes training junior carpenters, ensuring safety, and applying industry methods for containment and material handling on site.

The candidate will lead on-site tasks from framing to roofing, coordinate with resources, and meet strict timelines while traveling as required.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising unskilled labor and coordinating teams on site.
• Ability to train Carpenter Basic and Intermediate team members.
• Skilled in identifying project issues and escalating when needed.

Responsibilities

• Recognize potential problems and request guidance promptly.
• Train Carpenter Basic and Intermediate level team members.
• Answer questions and direct complex queries to specialists.
• Containment for construction dust, dirt, and contaminants.
• Construct walls, ceilings, roofing repairs and related tasks.
• Use BELFOR methods for flood cutting, salvaging and labeling materials.
• Identify insulation types and R-values; apply materials knowledge.
• Apply skills to trim, doors, cabinetry, insulation, framing, ceilings and siding.
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks.
• Meet BELFOR standards for protecting properties and clients.
• Understand customer service principles; work under time constraints.
• Occasionally work nights/weekends and travel as needed.
• Report time, equipment, and materials used accurately.
• Attend BELFOR operations and safety training courses.
