Job summary

BELFOR Holdings Inc. is seeking a Level 4 Carpenter to provide operations support on reconstruction projects in Memphis. The role includes training junior carpenters, leading on-site work, and ensuring adherence to BELFOR methods and safety standards.

You will oversee multiple projects, work nights/weekends as needed, and coordinate with teams to meet tight timelines while maintaining quality and customer service.

Qualifications

• Supervision of unskilled labor and BELFOR employees.
• Emergency services as needed (board ups, securing building).
• Experience across residential, commercial, multi-family, industrial settings.
• Ability to travel periodically and work nights/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Train Carpenter Basic and Intermediate team members in all facets of their job descriptions.
• Identify potential project problems and request guidance when needed.
• Construct containment for construction dust, dirt and contaminants.
• Operate tools and BELFOR methods for flood cutting, salvaging and labeling baseboards, cabinets, doors, etc.
• Develop ability to identify insulation types and R-values.
