Job summary

American Bridge Company seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead a major Caribbean infrastructure project in St. Thomas.

You will oversee design development, construction execution, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and turnover in a complex, active-port environment. The role requires coordinating with owners, design consultants, subcontractors, and regulators, managing risks, and maintaining safety and quality throughout project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, or related field.
• 6–8 years of progressively responsible construction experience.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, change management, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project execution from preconstruction to closeout.
• Coordinate design, construction, client interfaces, and stakeholder engagement.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and major procurements.
• Develop and maintain project schedule across design, permitting, construction, and turnover.
• Mentor project staff including engineers and superintendents.
• Ensure safety and quality per OSHA standards and company policy.
