Job summary

Suffolk Construction is seeking a Project Manager for the Caribbean Project in Miami, FL, to oversee budgets, schedules, and comprehensive project documentation, coordinating with owners, architects, consultants and trade partners.

The role requires leadership of Suffolk Field Supervision, subcontractors and vendors, strong communication, risk management, and disciplined closeout, with accountability for safety, quality and successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field or engineering.
• 5+ years of project management experience on large-scale builds.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Suffolk Field Supervision, subcontractors and vendors to the project schedule.
• Represent Suffolk with owners, architects, consultants, authorities, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Administer financial aspects of contracts and purchase orders.
• Build effective working relationships with clients and project team members.
• Oversee project start-up, scheduling values, logs, safety plans and mobilization.
• Maintain buy schedules, subcontracts, riders, insurance compliance, and logs.
• Attend meetings to monitor and manage the project; chair as needed.
• Manage requisitions, payments, lien releases, and cash flow.
• Deliver closeout packages, warranties, as-builts, and training to owner.
