Job summary

The Waters Senior Living Management LLC is seeking a Caregiver/Resident Assistant to support residents with daily living activities under the supervision of a nurse. You will provide friendly, compassionate care and document changes in health status as part of the care plan.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year nursing/resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English.
• Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems.
• Compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexible with hours/shift schedules and assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services including: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated.
• Assist residents in dining.
• Provides homemaking tasks.
• Responds to and reports changes in resident's health status and/or any recommendations for changes that should be made to the resident plan of care.
• Completes thorough daily charting.
• Collaborates with other team members within the community to deliver The Waters Way.
• Other duties as assigned.
