Job summary

Senior Lifestyle in Colorado Springs seeks compassionate caregivers to assist residents with daily living activities, including medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services, while maintaining their dignity. You will follow the schedule, document care in daily logs, provide emotional support, and work as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience working in senior care.
• Proficiency in English to perform duties and communicate with staff and emergencies.
• May require CNA or CHHA license depending on state.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in high stress situations.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
