You will follow the supervisor's schedule, provide emotional and social support, and document daily logs. English proficiency is required; a CNA/CHHA license may be needed depending on state, with the ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• English proficiency to perform duties and emergency communications.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on state.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• Ability to work as a part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in high stress situations.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and medication reminders.
• Follow supervisor's schedule for resident care.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
• Respect residents' confidentiality.
