Job summary

PACS Group's Antelope Valley Care Center is seeking a Staff Coordinator to ensure proper staffing of the facility's nursing department in alignment with budget and census targets.

The role includes scheduling, reporting to the Director of Nursing Services, maintaining records, interviewing CNAs, coordinating interviews and orientation, and partnering with Human Resources to address staffing needs for efficient daily operation.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Basic mathematical skills for scheduling and reports.
• Ability to reason, work in a team, and make independent decisions.
• Must maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing department scheduling to ensure adequate staffing.
• Maintain employee records, time cards and attendance data.
• Coordinate interviews and orientation for new hires.
• Communicate staffing plans and issues with the DNS and HR.
• Prepare reports on staffing and labor issues as required.
