Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to ensure adequate nursing department staffing based on budget and census. You will support scheduling, attendance records, and reporting to the Director of Nursing Services, while coordinating with Human Resources on staffing needs.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and interdepartmental collaboration to maintain efficient facility operations and staffing quality.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or its equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to read technical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a current listing of resident care employee phone numbers.
• Coordinate monthly nursing schedules to ensure unit coverage.
• Assist with hiring records and orientation for nursing staff.
• Schedule interviews and respond to applicant inquiries as needed.
• Prepare reports and communicate staffing issues to the DNS.
