Job summary

EHM Senior Solutions is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist in Saline, MI for a per diem role focused on assessing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders in our senior residents.

You will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, deliver direct therapy, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and educate families on communication strategies to support ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Michigan.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience, preferably in senior care or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in senior patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
• Provide direct therapy services to patients, focusing on improving speech, language, and communication skills.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies to support ongoing improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans.
• Stay informed about research and advancements in speech therapy to enhance service delivery.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to best practices within the therapy department.
