Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services in Flint, MI is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) to deliver compassionate care, evaluate swallowing and communication disorders, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve residents' quality of life.

This role requires a Masters in SLP, state licensure or eligibility, and strong interpersonal, clinical, and fiscal skills. A flexible Monday-Friday schedule with 8 hours minimum per month is offered, plus pathways for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state license as Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain prior to start.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop/implement SLP treatment programs from evaluations.
• Provide rehabilitative services under medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate plan of care.
• Treat residents one-on-one with individualized, functional-based sessions.
