Allegria Village in Dearborn, MI seeks a Per Diem Speech Pathologist for our skilled nursing facility. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing issues, under physician direction.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, conducting rehabilitative therapy, administering tests, and educating residents, families, and caregivers. Must have a master’s or doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology and a state license; travel as needed.

Formación

• Master's or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Familiarity with SNF standards and regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, hearing, cognitive, or swallowing issues.
• Provide direct patient treatment under physician's direction.
• Screen residents and develop care plans.
• Plan and conduct rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communication and swallowing functions.
• Administer, score, and interpret speech tests.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on practice strategies.
• Complete required forms and document according to policy and regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
