Job summary

Memorial Healthcare in Owosso, MI is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders across life stages. You will develop and implement treatment programs and document progress in the patient record.

This role requires autonomy, collaboration with families and education for patients and staff, and may involve home health, acute, post-acute, or outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• CCC or CFY eligibility required.
• New grads welcome; two years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine communication needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Plan individualized treatment programs based on assessment results and physician orders.
• Document all actions in the patient’s medical record.
• Educate patients and families about communication disorders and treatment plans.
• Treat patients according to the plan using age-appropriate methods.
• Provide education to other departments and the public (in-services/lectures).
• Coordinate treatment with patient, family, and other disciplines.
• Provide Home Health services as indicated in the home environment.
• Demonstrate safety and professional conduct in care delivery.
• Travel to Memorial Healthcare facilities as required.
