Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated resident care assistant (CNA) to join our interdisciplinary team. You will support residents and families with activities, social and emotional needs, helping them achieve an optimal level of functioning.

You will follow age-related care protocols for adults and seniors, collaborate with the care team, complete assessments, participate in care conferences and communicate clearly with residents, families and colleagues.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum high school graduate or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in long term care, social services or human services preferred.
• CNA certification required within six months of hire based on location.

Aufgaben

• Assist residents with activities, social, emotional and economic concerns to support optimal functioning.
• Utilize age-related care protocols relating to adults and geriatric residents.
• Work with interdisciplinary team to achieve sound outcomes and participate in care conferences.
• Complete assessments and align resources; investigate grievances.
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication and build rapport with residents, families and staff.
