Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to serve residents in long-term care. You will provide daily living assistance and basic nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse, ensuring comfort and safety as part of a care team.

You will follow care plans, monitor vital signs, assist with meals and activities, and maintain accurate documentation while adhering to infection control policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required and provided by facility.
• Minimum age 16 and high school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Maintains required certifications and completes annual continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Perform essential care tasks including vital signs, bathing, toileting, grooming, and meals.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, range of motion, and mobility aids.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes; communicate concerns to the charge nurse.
