Job summary

Sanford Health, a large rural health system, seeks a Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in long-term care facilities under RN supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, vital signs, and mobility, while maintaining infection prevention practices and documenting care as needed.

The role requires CNA certification or active enrollment, HS diploma or GED, and a minimum age of 16.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with State Board, or in process to obtain certification.
• CNA training and certification provided by facility.
• Continuing education: minimum 12 hours annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and meals.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to RN/charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and movement.
• Support and participate in wellness and recreational activities.
