Qualifications

• Masters degree in speech-language pathology and eligibility for state licensure.
• Excellent interpersonal, clinical, and fiscal skills relevant to patient care.
• Current state license as an SLP or eligibility to obtain before starting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
• Establish and implement treatment goals and SLP programs based on clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services as part of a coordinated care team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate the plan of care.
• Treat residents one-on-one with individualized, functional-focused sessions.
