Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our compassionate team serving senior residents. You will evaluate swallowing and communication disorders, establish goals, and deliver individualized therapy within a coordinated plan of care.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist or the ability to obtain before starting employment.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments.
• Establish treatment goals and develop SLP programs based on a full clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate the plan of care for patients.
• Treat residents one on one with individualized attention and functional-based approaches.
