Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services seeks a licensed Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time, on-site role in Chattanooga, TN. You will evaluate swallowing and communication disorders, develop treatment plans, and provide individualized care within a multidisciplinary team in senior living communities.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, licensure reimbursement, CEUs, a robust benefits package, and opportunities for career advancement in a not-for-profit organization.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop/implement SLP programs based on a full clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate the plan of care for patients.
• Treat residents one-on-one with private sessions and functional-based treatment approaches.
