Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services in Marietta, GA is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with seniors in our rehabilitation team. You will evaluate and treat swallowing and communication disorders, establish treatment goals, and collaborate with the care team to deliver individualized therapy.

This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays, licensure reimbursement, CEUs, comprehensive benefits, PTO, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/ cognitive impairments, utilizing a variety of evidenced based therapeutic techniques
• Establish treatment goals, as well as develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
• Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach
