Job summary

myPlace Health is seeking an organized Scheduler for the PACE program in Compton, CA. This on-site role coordinates medical, dental, therapy, and specialty appointments for older adults, ensuring care plans and regulatory timeframes are met.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to arrange transportation, conduct new participant orientations, and confirm appointments with participants and caregivers, contributing to quality of life for seniors served.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years in medical scheduling or healthcare administration.
• Experience with elderly care/PACE or home health a plus.
• EMR scheduling experience required.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule participant medical, dental, therapy, and specialty appointments.
• Organize orientation days and initial assessments for new participants.
• Serve as the scheduling quarterback across care settings to minimize conflicts.
• Collaborate with Transportation, Medical Records, Home Care, and Clinic teams.
• Communicate with participants and caregivers; follow up on appointments.
