myPlace Health, a PACE program, is seeking a Scheduler to coordinate participant appointments across medical, therapy, and specialty services in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting in Downtown Los Angeles. The role emphasizes accurate EMR scheduling, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and timely communication with participants and caregivers.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in medical scheduling, a High School Diploma or GED, and bilingual English/Spanish skills.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years in medical scheduling or healthcare administration.
• 1 year elderly care experience preferred.
• Experience using EMR to manage schedules.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Onsite role in Downtown Los Angeles (90057).

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and schedule medical, dental, therapy, and specialty appointments.
• Arrange external appointments with referrals, authorizations, and transportation.
• Organize orientation and initial assessments for new participants.
• Act as the scheduling lead to minimize conflicts and optimize staff schedules.
• Collaborate with Transportation, Home Care, Medical Records, and Clinic teams.
• Serve as the liaison between Senior Center Manager, Clinic Staff, Medical Records, and Transportation Coordinators.
• Provide confirmation calls to participants with appointment details.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and urgent requests.
• Enter and update appointment details in EMR and scheduling software.
• Perform additional scheduling tasks as needed.
