Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society NE Albion is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized care to residents in a faith-based, not-for-profit setting. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in collaboration with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will hold a current RN license with a nationally accredited program; a BSN is preferred. A locational sign-on bonus is available for qualified full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, and NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents.
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel as appropriate.
• Ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and address care and service concerns.
