Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Albion is responsible for providing individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process, in collaboration with residents, families and the interdisciplinary team.

The role includes coordinating care across settings, performing resident assessments, education, and various nursing interventions, with potential to serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Unencumbered RN license in the practicing state; may hold NLC multistate licensure.
• Maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized resident care.
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education and nursing interventions.
• Serve as charge nurse and oversee delegated tasks when appropriate.
• Ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and address concerns.
