Job summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Albion provides individualized nursing care using the nursing process to residents in a 12-hour day shift schedule. They collaborate with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care, ensuring high-quality outcomes in a Christian, not-for-profit environment.
The role requires an RN license (state and/or multistate if applicable), and a preference for Bachelor’s level education with continued competency
Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license where practice occurs; multistate licensure if in NLC state.
- Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process for residents.
- Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care.
- Coordinate care, resident education and supervise delegates as appropriate.
- Adhere to Nurse Practice Act and state rules; uphold ethics and standards.
