Job summary

Senior Helpers of Algonquin is seeking a warm, outgoing Community Relations Coordinator to build and nurture referral networks within the Algonquin area. You will connect with hospitals, senior living communities, rehab facilities, hospice and home health providers, turning relationships into new clients.

You will travel regularly to meet prospects, present Senior Helpers services, and collaborate with the local office team to drive growth and deliver an exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in sales, business development, or community outreach
• Healthcare/home care/senior living/hospice experience preferred
• Strong networking, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Self-motivated, organized, with ability to meet measurable goals
• Professional, personable, persistent, and able to follow up on opportunities

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow referral relationships throughout Algonquin and surrounding communities
• Build connections with hospitals, senior living communities, rehab facilities, hospice and home health agencies
• Conduct regular in-person outreach, follow-ups, presentations, and networking activities
• Generate qualified referrals and help convert opportunities into new clients
• Meet with prospective clients and families to understand care needs and explain Senior Helpers services
• Represent Senior Helpers at community events and professional organizations
• Maintain communication with referral partners and strengthen relationships
• Track outreach activities, referrals, follow-ups, and results
• Collaborate with the office team to support growth and client experience
• Assist with local marketing and social media efforts as needed
