Job summary

Senior Helpers of Algonquin is seeking a warm, outgoing Community Relations Coordinator who builds relationships with healthcare professionals and community partners to generate referrals and connect families with Senior Helpers services.

You will conduct in-person outreach, presentations, and networking events, travel regularly throughout Algonquin and surrounding communities, and collaborate with the office team to drive growth and deliver an excellent client experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in sales, business development, community outreach, or relationship management; healthcare/senior care preferred.
• Strong networking and communication skills.
• Ability to travel regularly in Algonquin and surrounding communities.
• Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow referral relationships throughout Algonquin and surrounding communities.
• Build connections with hospitals, senior living communities, hospice and home health agencies.
• Conduct regular in-person outreach, follow-ups, presentations, and networking activities.
• Generate qualified referrals and help convert opportunities into new clients.
• Meet with prospective clients and families to understand care needs and explain services.
• Represent Senior Helpers at community events, senior fairs, networking events, and professional organizations.
• Maintain consistent communication with referral partners and strengthen existing relationships.
• Track outreach activities, referrals, follow-ups, and results.
• Collaborate with the office team to support business growth and an excellent client experience.
• Assist with local marketing and social media efforts as needed.
