Job summary

Senior Helpers of Algonquin is seeking a warm, outgoing Community Relations Coordinator to drive growth through community partnerships and referral channels. You will connect with hospitals, rehab facilities, senior living communities, home health agencies, and physician offices to generate qualified referrals and explain our care services.

In this role you’ll conduct in-person outreach, presentations, and networking events, manage relationships, and support marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, community outreach, or relationship management, healthcare/home care preferred.
• Proven ability to develop referral relationships and generate new business.
• Strong networking, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working toward measurable goals.
• Travel regularly throughout Algonquin and surrounding communities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow referral relationships throughout Algonquin and surrounding communities.
• Build connections with hospitals, rehab facilities, senior living communities, hospice and home health agencies, physician offices, and other senior-focused organizations.
• Conduct regular in-person outreach, follow-ups, presentations, and networking activities.
• Generate qualified referrals and help convert opportunities into new clients.
• Meet with prospective clients and families to understand their care needs and explain Senior Helpers services.
• Represent Senior Helpers at community events, senior fairs, networking events, and professional organizations.
• Maintain consistent communication with referral partners and strengthen existing relationships.
• Track outreach activities, referrals, follow-ups, and results.
• Collaborate with the office team to support business growth and excellent client experience.
• Assist with local marketing and social media efforts as needed.
