Job summary

BoldAge PACE seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver high-quality patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will support an interdisciplinary team, implement treatment plans, educate participants and families, and maintain accurate documentation while managing a caseload.

Requirements include an accredited PTA program, current state licensure or eligibility, and experience with frail or elderly populations preferred; training is provided if needed.

Qualifications

• AA degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state license or eligibility for licensure.
• One year PTA experience preferred.
• Experience working with frail or elderly population preferred; training provided on hire if not present.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and modalities such as heat/cold/e-stim.
• Monitor progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate participants and families on home exercises and safety to promote independence.
• Document therapy sessions and outcomes; report changes or adverse reactions.
