Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited NP program with PMHNP specialization.
• ANCC PMHNP certification.
• Active DEA license and state NP licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rounds and manage psychiatric care across SNF, LTC, AL, and IL.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and facility staff for coordinated care.
• Evaluate residents' mental health, perform exams, and collect medical histories.
• Order tests, interpret results, and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education on therapies.
• Coordinate acute psychiatric and medical needs with care teams.
