Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a state-approved PCA, CNA, or caregiver training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal care, senior living, or healthcare preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support meal preparation, feeding assistance, and hydration as needed.
• Observe and report changes in health or behavior to nursing staff; monitor for adverse reactions to medications.
• Foster companionship and encourage participation in activities to promote engagement and well-being.
• Ensure living areas are clean, safe, and compliant with infection control and safety procedures.
