Job summary

Cranberry House is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities and promote independence in a safe, compassionate environment.

The PCA will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, meals, and hydration; monitor health changes and reinforce infection control. This role values empathy, reliability, and teamwork to enhance residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• PCA/CNA or caregiver training program preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of personal care or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and meals.
• Monitor residents' health, report changes to the nursing team, and support medication reminders.
